Drive browsing on Windows 10 Pro

Hey guys,

I just installed SportTracks on a clean Windows 10 pc. Unfortunately when I try to set the backup folder in the Settings -> Data file -> Backup folder (but the same goes for Default folder for new logbooks) I cannot browse the folder structure on my PC. Obviously, I can see all folders from Windows Explorer, Total Commander, etc...

So did anybody stumbled upon this?

Thanks,
Tudor

Under Win7, I have no problem browsing for Backup folder. You should be able to enter or paste the desired directory into the Settings->Data files->Backup folder field. Browse in windows explorer and copy the desired folder name.

This may be related to Since 3.1.6179 no more folder shortcut visible in IMPORT

Hello,

thanks for the reply. I've tried this as well, doesn't work either. I've also uninstalled onedrive, checked permissions, etc...still no luck. I think it's a non standard activex control that's used for browsing folders and that's causing the issues...

ST uses a custom file selector that only supports local drives. No network drives. (Latest versions have problems with shortcuts too for some users.)
What you can do is adding Windows links (from the CMD prompt, as admin).

Came to this the other day too. I wanted to save an elevation profile to my Dropbox Folder but could not browse to it, or even get to the desktop to save it there. If I backed up the levels to the root, I could not then drill down to other folders; they weren't there, nor were they available under My Computer.
