Reviews

@RobGun: I just checked and it works. Save the training to .fit file, copy it to /NewFiles in your /Garmin/ directory (inside F3). After disconnectig you will see a new submenu "other" in Trainigs menu.

Do you plan to sync onto the devices like Fenix3 with Garmin Express. It does not work with the connector plugin, Fenix won't accept the workout.

To Franky63: The plugin is free and all functions are available for free. You do get a 15 seconds donation reminder until you donate the minimum amount but this doesn't unlock any new features, it simply speeds up the launch process.

Important Notes

  1. This version of the plugin requires the latest version of SportTracks, which is 3.0 or later
  2. The Garmin Communicator Plugin version 3.0 must be installed and activated in Internet Explorer.
  3. After it has installed, go to the test page in Internet Explorer and allow the ActiveX plugin. Once this is done, your unit should be detected on the test page.

Known bugs

- Garmin Communicator plugin crashes when importing/exporting a workout containing a power target.  (The problem is under investigation at Garmin.  More details here)
- SportTracks categories are lost when exporting to device (Because of slow transfer, this is only available when exporting to file)

The developer of this plugin as free, but this unfortunately is not the case, because a use without payment is not possible. :-(

There is great handling of multi-level power Workouts and Scheduling using the Garmin Fitness Plugin. Add on the handling of Profiles for both the bicycle and the athlete make this plugin "must-have" for any Edge user! Perfect with my Edge 500.
