Why is this file not giving good results?

Why is this file not giving good results?

Postby ksherman » Tue Sep 23, 2014 5:54 am

Attached file is a recovery run so slowish. Watch (Magellan) details 5.15 k and 31:21. But the file when imported gives auto numbers of 1.44 and 8:32? I can switch the flag to manual but the calculated TRIMP still comes off the invalid calc'd numbers so is out by a factor of 5 approx. The running stopped threshhold is set at 15 mins per k so that shouldn't impact.
Is there something I am missing?

Imports just fine for me. Also TRIMP is calculated from HR, have you looked at the HR data track?

I imported to Strava and it looked reasonable, but the speed track/calculation was really messed up with a big gap in the middle. The speed/pace problem was probably why the calculated numbers in ST were wrong. The track ahd a 9 minute stop in it while I took a phone call which also may have had some impact. In the end I exported the HR track and trimmed out the stop, and manually created the route.

I tried importing again with two different methods of import. Both imports were by the file import of the .fit file, but one was using ST native file import and the other was the OMB .fit file import. The native ST import was very similar, see below
