Description: From the Author Currently it only supports Blogger and Live Spaces, but it should be easy to extend with other blogging systems if they just implement RSD and use the MetaweblogAPI. It will create a simple post based on the selected activity - later I'll allow the user to select which information to include and choose between different layouts.

Description: A plugin with several smaller parts. Some of could be included in ST. Some parts have been split from the original plugin and have own webpages and versions.
Notes: Most functionality is done from Activity (or Route) Edit. If a functionality cannot be applied, the option is not visible.
---------------
ExtendGPSTrack
Ever started a run without a GPS-fix? This Plugin inserts GPS points before the fix (and after) and extends the route in the start (end) direction.
----------------
SetGPStime
When creating a GPS track manually, ST will not set time for the GPS points. This will set the GPS point time from the manually set time.
--------------
Laps2Cadence
Sets the Laps and clock stop/start to the Cadence track.
--------------
DifferenceToPowerTrack
If GPS and a DistanceTrack both exists (and no PowerTrack), it puts the distance difference in the PowerTrack.
----------------
ElevationCorrectionAnalysis
Adds the original GPS elevation after using pkan's ElevationCorrection plugin
Separate dll and version

Licence: Not decided yet, however I tend to keep the source code closed

Notes:
The plugin adds:
- two settings page to set up power related equipment parameters and weather stations used,
- an activity detail page ('Weather Information') and
- four edit actions ('Calculate Power Track For Cycling', 'Clear Power Track', 'Find Weather Information', 'Clear Weather Information'
to SportTracks 2.0.
All actions work on one to many selected activies.
The plugin uses Weather Underground http://www.wunderground.org to download weather data for an activity including temperature, altitude adjusted temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and head/tail wind.
A table of maximum, minimum and average values is displayed for each of these, together with a compass based wind direction indicator. A URL and data for weather stations used is also displayed.
User selected weather data may be graphically displayed, featuring full scaling control, for an activity as a function of either time of time of day, time, running time, or distance.
Using athlete data (height and weight), equipment data (including and especially tires), and weather data the plugin will then allow the calculation of a power track, which may be graphically displayed via the standard ST graphing and reporting functions (activity detail page 'Cycling').

Notes:
What does the Plugin install:
The Plugin adds:
- a settings page "After Import Plugin"
- an import postprocessor
- an action "Do 'After Import' Processing" in the 'Edit activity' menue
What can this plugin do for me:
SportTracks already provides some heuristics to:
- prefill the category
- add equipment items according to category
- set the location
for newly imported activities.
This plugin adds some more automatization. It can:
- prefill the category depending on the average heartrate of this workout
- set the location and a GPS position depending on category
- set the distance and ascent/descent for a workout based on speed values that you can set for your categories
- automatically find weather information (this requires an up-to-date build of my GPS2PowerTrack plugin) (1)
- automatically calculate power (this requires an up-to-date build of my GPS2PowerTrack plugin) (1)
- automatically analyze power (this requires an up-to-date build of my Power Analysis plugin) (2)
- remove unnecessary values from heartrate, cadence, elevation and power tracks, which will decrease the size of your logbook file
All this will happen for newly imported activities.
There's a new action in the 'Edit activity' menue as well, to trigger this for existing activities.
Note that this menue item can be switched on and off on the settings page.

Latest version: 0.2 (Build 0.2.2982.42818)
Release date: 2008 March 02
Licence: Not decided yet, however I tend to keep the source code closed
Localisation: Neutral only (English)

Planned enhancements:none
Screen shot:
Notes:
The Plugin adds:
- a settings page "Power Analysis"
- an activity detail page "Power Analysis"
- an action "Analyze Power" in the 'Edit activity' menue - available when you select an activity with power and heartrate track
- an action "Compare Power" in the 'Edit activity' menue - when you select more than one activity via the reports view
This plugin focusses on power to heartrate relation as an indication of your fitness.
Briefly said: when you can produce the same power at lower heartrate, or a given increase in power output results in less increase of your heartrate, your fitness has improved.
The center part of the plugin is the "Power Analysis" activity detail page.
It shows - from top to bottom:
- key parameters of the analysis
- heartrate and power over time
- a rainbow bar over time - points in the x/y diagram below are colored according to their point of time in the workout
- an x/y diagram of power vs. heartrate
The y/y diagram displays:
- your heart rate zones as a background, with time and distance spent in every heart rate zone
- <power, heartrate> points taken at given intervals during your workout
- a line showing the best linear approximation for the power vs. heartrate correlation
- barcharts that show the distribution of power and heart rate
How can you use it:
Go to the settings page and configure the plugin.
Tool tips help you to understand the different parameters.
Select one or many activities which have a heartrate track and a power track and select "Analyze Power".
The power track can either be recorded by a power meter (SRM, PowerTap).
There are plugins to import files from these devices - guess who has written them
Or you can use that brilliant GPS2PowerTrack plugin to calculate a power track for biking.
Of course, power meters will provide power data that are more reliable.
This is - for now - a prerequisite to view the activity detail page "Power Analysis" for these activities.
Have a look at the SRM manual page referenced in http://sporttracks.zonefivesoftware.com/Discussion/viewtopic.php?t=2459
to get some more background information.

Name: CiclosportTurPlugin
Description: CiclosportTurPlugin is a SportTracks file import plugin for Ciclosport/Hactronic ".tur" files.
This is different from OMB's "*.dat" plugin, and exos's ".crp" plugin. These plugins actually complement each other.
Author: HrothgarV

Notes:
- The formula for climb up/down is simple: + change in altitude = ascend, - change = descend,
which is different from HACTronic's formula, and may be different from ST's formula.
- Power data is not imported : if you happen to know the algorithm, let me know
- The tour's Min/Ave/Max temp is used to prefill ST's weather condition in the import dialog. |
