Since 3.1.6179 no more folder shortcut visible in IMPORT

Hello, my workout files are saved into 2 different folders on my PC. I created 2 shortcuts to those folders where those files are located to quickly jump to the location i want. But since i installed the latest SportTracks version, i don't see those shortcuts anymore using the IMPORT function as the filter is made to list only the importable files.
Any possibility to see my "shortcuts" again? An option to list all files (*.*) would obviously do it.

You likely have an incomplete update install.
Do an uninstall to remove ST. This will not remove your logbook or system preferences.
Then do a fresh download from zonefive of the current release and install ST.
Not a bad idea to always do a Backup before such system changes.

Thanks for the reply, but it did not work.
As i had an old backup with version 3.1.5770, i replaced the latest SportTracks executable with the one from 3.1.5770 and this time it worked.
Furtermore, I have the exact same issue on another PC running the latest version of ST3.
So i supposed that there must be something wrong with the latest version and that my installation is correct.
In the mean time, i'll stay with an "old" version.

I added two snapshots where you'll see that with latest version the folder shortcut is missing.

The problem probably started by then, I have not investigated.

Same here, now that I check - Shortcuts no longer show on import file box.

Hmmm - I was going to post in the Bugs forum, but that no longer seems to be available for posting.
Does this mean all bugs are to be reporting in the Questions or Enhancements forums until they are fixed?

We cannot reproduce this with a clean install or upgrade from previous version and none of this code was touched in the last release. It's definitely an install/upgrade problem.

Uninstall the program completely and check the Program Files (x86)\Zone Five Software folder is completely empty. Download the software from the website and reinstall.

It is likely related to a bad Interop.Shell32.dll. Check to ensure it has the same date modified as your SportTracks.exe

Still no luck with a clean reinstall.
Program Files (x86)\Zone Five Software folder was empty, Interop.Shell32.dll and SportTracks.exe had the same modified date (see attachment) but it did not help.
The version that works for me has two different dates for the files mentioned (see second attachment).
Replacing the "new" Interop.Shell32.dll with the "old" (that worked) Interop.Shell32.dll did not help neither.

Same here.
Looking at old releases, Interop.Shell32.dll always is version 1.0.0.0 and just has different dates.

Occurs for me also after an uninstall/install of 6179.
Interop.Shell32.dll has the same date modified as SportTracks.exe

Reinstalling 5770 resolves the problem

It's also interesting to note that many users can reproduce the issue while the developer cannot.
Did the developer try to understand why? It would definitely help Zonefivesotware to have an environment as close as possible to the one of their users.

Thanks, slightly different problems but may be related.... I reverted to an older version to avoid the issue i mentioned.
