Potencia . ¿Live Recording o Garmin ?¿TrainerPower o GPS2?

Postby LC8ZGZ » Wed Jul 25, 2012 9:33 am

Hola

¿ Puede hacerse y no me he enterado ?. ¿ Esta previsto ?

Muchas gracias.

If you can post your question in English, I might be able to help you.

Thank you for your interest and your work
I speak little English, I translate with google :

Hello

I downloaded the plugin "Live Recording" to run and record real-time sensor data output speed / cadence and heart rate monitor tape and also directly measure the power I give the model roller which is set to selectable list I have. What does it perfectly. Great!. Anyway, while I also write data to the Garmin 910xt .. and also works.

The question makes me wonder is: I spent two acticidades (which actually are the same) of Garmin and "Live Recording" at ST3 and now I have to decide what not to eliminate duplication in the statistics. With the Garmin file I got the power by the plugin "GPS2 track power."

Which of the two plugins are more accurate? .. Is using Live Recording with the "Power Trainer" and uses the data from my roll model or software that brings the power plug GPS track?. The results and statistics of both are slightly different.

Could you do an activity does not come out in the statistics to avoid having to remove them?

The truth is that "Live Recording" is extraordinary but humbly want to comment on what would perfect: May be initiated automatically by detecting cadence or power rather than having to give the play (this would avoid having to run to get on the bike and the sum of these data useless) and ...... audible warning if dispusiese for Power, Heart Rate, Cadence .. too low or high .... or even be programmed with practice sessions as the Training Center (no longer used). Can it be done and I have not heard?. Is this intended?

Thank you very much.

Well, it seems that Google's command of English is not that much better :)

Here are the answers to what I understood:
1. When doing activities on a roller trainer, power data of Live Recording plugin + Power Trainer plugin should be much more exact. GPS2PowerTrack plugin calculates power for outdoor activities taking into account the typical resistance factors including wind drag. That doesn't fit the resistance curve of a roller trainer.
2. You suggest to start recording in Live Recording as soon as the plugin detects movement. Very good point - I'll consider that.

Cheers,

Thanks for your attention and explanation.

On the suggestion of eliminating redundant data could also be a simple but a countdown from 10-15 seconds to allow time to get on the bike and start the stopwatch to zero and perhaps to make it stop only a time / distance or preset calories

Thanks for the great programs !!!
