Apply GPS Track From Route

Apply GPS Track From Route

Postby yoeddy0420 » Thu Sep 02, 2010 7:51 pm

I am having problems with Applying a GPS Track from a Route, to a manually created activity. If I Apply a GPS Track from a Route to an activity that was imported from a Garmin TCX file it works fine.

For the manual activity I tried several different routes and they all hung. The progress bar goes all the way until the end. But the Ok button remains disabled. I also tried applying a GPS Track from a Route to multiple manual activities and in that scenario the progress bar stopped halfway and the buttons remained disabled. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Seems like this one is also related to "Apply Routes" plugin.

I thought the Apply GPS Track from Route was built in functionality of SportTracks on the edit menu.

If I use the AR - Apply Route(which I beleive the the Apply Route Plugin version) I don't have a problem. It applies the route fine for a manual activity.

BTW, sorry for the duplicate items. I thought I had posted and then I coulnd't find it. Sorry about that.

So I removed the unsupported Apply Route Plugin that I had installed. The "Apply GPS Track from ..." item is still available in the edit menu.

So I am acutally not sure where that edit menu comes from, like I said in my last post I thought it was a new feature of ST3 that appeared recently.

Sorry I found it, looks to be related to OMB's Waypoints Plugin. That is where that edit menu item is coming from.
