Elevation Correction and Drift

Elevation Correction and Drift

Postby thosj » Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:51 pm

Recently I've been getting a pop up telling me that the elevation data was gotten from a device that drifted and do I want to correct it instead of replace it. I have a Garmin Edge 800. It almost always shows this drift message, probably at least half the time. Is there a way to just answer once and have that be the default? If not, we need a way to set this so we don't have to answer it every time.

The dialog also pops up behind the thremometer gage loading data (might be the After Import prodessing gage, I don't remember), so it took me a while to figure out that it was behind there and I had to click an edge and answer to get it to continue.

Thanks,
Tom

For now, you have to answer this question every time.

I second that, it is a little annoying having to select this option each time. It should be a one time option bound to each device.

Also, I get this question even if I import from Forerunner 610, which DOES NOT have a barometric altimeter. I consider this as a bug.

Any hope for a fix?

This action works on elevation tracks in SportTracks without having the slightest clue where they originate from.
So it's not possible to make this a "per device" option.
