Bug (?) importing tcx

Bug (?) importing tcx

Postby ARI » Sat Jun 25, 2011 9:07 am

Hello,
trying to import a .tcx (created with ridewithgps), all seems to be good... at the first look.
Unfortunatly, courses points (turn left, turn right and so one) are deported to the end of the courses.
The strange thing is that theire are on the good place on the map.
OMB i send you the file by PM.

oh, by the way, gtc have no problem with this file.
regards

?? The file that you sent me via email imports without problems in MY current version. And the imported course and course points look perfect ??
The TCX file doesn't look "suspicious" or uncommon as well.
Please add a screen shot of what you think isn't ok.

Cheers,
OMB

Can't confirm that - but my development version is of course newer.
Will release a new version within the next few days - please retry with that. I assume that I've changed something in the code that helps in cour case.

Hello OMB,
I have the same problem, too. If I convert the tcx via edge 800 in a *.fit-file, it's all ok.... :?
So I'm waiting for the update, but after trying out all functions of the plug-in, the problem is not relevant any more, because I import the gpx-file and add the coursepoints via your plug-in. :)
But two other points....
If I create coursepoints via right mouse-click, I see the symbol used last time (for example "right") and can change this to another (for example "left"), but the comment ist still "right" and I have always to delete the comment and make it new by writing. This takes a lot of time.... :P
The second point; I have nowa lot of courses in Sporttracks and need a structure for them (like folders). Is it possible to implement folders??? :?:
Nevertheless the plug-in is super and I'm very happy with it....

Manfred

There are no "folders" and I haven't planned this.
But you can use the "Category" property to categorize them hierarchically. E.g. "Sailing", "Biking : Street Bike", "Biking : MTB".
Then sort by column "Category" and you don't get lost.

Yep, I'm aware of the renaming issue and I've already fixed it in my current development version.
