The type initializer for 'CalculatedFields.Data.Evaluator'..

The type initializer for 'CalculatedFields.Data.Evaluator'..

Postby rjsa » Fri Mar 16, 2012 3:45 pm

... threw an exception.

I downloaded, installed and created two fields. Calculated them for all my history just fine. Next day tried again and got this message trying to calculate values. Will fail both for new activities and for the old ones where it worked before.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
probably screenshot of that exception will help.

Just curious, could you try to disable your antivirus if it helps? (if you are using some)

Thanks
Peter

Hi Camel,

Thankyou for having a look. Here's the snapshot. Tried with both AV and FW disabled, same error.

Found something here, ST3 is leaving ghost processes behind after I close it Next session opened on top of the ghost will have calculated fields failing.

I haven't figured out how these processes are being left behind, opened and closed ST3 three times and go no ghost... I'll keep digging, but I guess calculated fields is not guilty but is the only plugin being affected by the ghosts.

Hmm, that could be that reason. Plugin is taking control of one temporary directory. And it's same all the time.

So first instance of sporttracks is holding this directory and second instance want to take control of this and this will fail.
Reason beyond this is because plugin is compiling calculated expressions on the fly into files.

So I need it.

It's in APPDATA/CalculatedFieldsPlugin/TEMP

Exact location is depending on your operating system.
