2015 new logbook

2015 new logbook

Postby gringojack » Thu Jan 01, 2015 1:55 am

Hello happy new year to all of you

In order to make a new logbook from 14/01/01 to 15/12/31, should I:
- make a copy of the preceeding one, rename it, delete all the data of the 2 years before, update Equipment section
- make a brand new one using some copy/paste options
that would b a little lighter for the 2 coming years

thank you

I should make a copy of the preceding logbook.
Because some settings are stored in the configuration files of ST.
Some settings are stored in the logbook.

Deleting old activities is easy.
But deleting athlete data is a lot of work.
You will have to delete them one by one.

On the other hand you do not really have to delete athlete data.
At least my athlete data are only a few Mb. And they do not have to be recalculated evry time.

Keep in mind that TrainingLoad starts counting your CTL/ATL from zero, when you delete all of your old activities.
So you should keep the last 28 activities.

How can I delete activities from a whole year?
I can do this only weekly

Or you could use the Compress Data Plugin on your existing Logbook and keep everything.

The Equipment section is very sensitive to activity removal. Before removing activities, you should record the use time/distance of equipment items at the activity removal threshold. You then put that usage into the items as "prior" use amounts.
The recent updates to SportTracks allow it to handle very large logbooks.

Easy to delete month at a time. In Daily Activity, select the month line and X Remove
