This is looking really good. Well done. :D

One possible "niggle" - if I click on an activity, the tooltip displays the info on that activity, however, if I then click on a "blank" day, i.e. a day with no activity, that same tooltip appears again.

Tooltip function for monthly/ daily activities is realy usefull. But - sad to say:
I can´t see any tooltips clicking on a month/ activty in the calendar.
Plugin page shows version 1.3.139 and no update available.
Plugin dll is from August 5th/22:38/57.856 bytes.
Seems to be the newest version but i see no difference to last version.
What´s going wrong here? :?:

Heiko

Beware: The more times you click on the same activity the longer the tool tip will appear before fade out.
The tool tip will remain 'on top' thus if you switch screens it will still appear on your screen....

I would be glad to have at least a fade in...
Nope, category filtering is working but no chance to get tooltips - click, doubleclick - no way. The tooltips are working on route map and with map overlay plugin so i assume it´s a problem with the activity YearView plugin.
Hope benbun has a workaround or solution for this.

Seems to be a windows registry issue.
The plugin uses the windows tooltip functions, which can be enabled/ disabled in the registry tree:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

After setting "EnableBalloonTips" to "1" the tooltip function in YearView plugin now works fine after one mouse click of day or month.

I hope BenBun uses the internal tooltip function of the route view like OMB implemented in his mapoverlay plugin, as the Windows tooltip function is in general bad to use: Long delays fading in, long fade outs or no functionality after switching too often between several infos (see clackerz post above).

That´s the reason why many users deactivate this function in the registry and so i did in the past.

Btw:
I get the distance in miles for the monthly summary and in km for daily info. I choosed km for distance in ST options. Also it would be nice to have more activity data - maybe the same values as mapoverlay offers for every lap marker.

YearView is a very handy plugin - shows me running too fast and protects me from getting overstressed/ overtrained. At a glance i am able to decide if i should do today better a healthy "green" or another moderate "yellow" or indeed a bloody "red" coloured run.

Good work!

Heiko
