Got the API but cannot find where to paste it in SportTracks. Went to "settings" but no "Google Maps" to click on

Any advice or instructions much appreciated

Go to Settings->Plugins->Google Maps and there is a field to enter API Key
Be sure to have a recent version of ST3

texmurphy,

Thank you for your reply.

My problem is I did go to Settings->Plugins but there is only a reference to "SportTracks Map Provider for Google Maps", and that reference has no place to insert an API key - even when I double-click it (nothing happens).

I would insert a screenshot but can't see how to upload that on a reply.

I believe I have the latest version of SportTracks (3.1.6879).

Perhaps there is some updated plugin I have missed out on?

Any further advice much appreciated

THIS IS RESOLVED. emailed with SportTracks support. My SportTracks 3 plugins were corrupted and when I upgraded to the latest SportTracks 3 for some reason the plugins did not update ON BOTH COMPUTERS. So first I uninstalled all the plugins I could from within SportTracks 3 settings. That did no apparent good. Then uninstalled the entire software and reinstalled - that came up with updated plugins AND a place to plug in API for Google maps. So maps issue is resolved. Unfortuantely, still can't CloudSync with SportTracks Mobi - but working on that

I general, I find the BEST way to upgrade ST3 is to get a fresh download from ZoneFive, then do a Windows Uninstall of the current version of ST3. This will not remove any logbooks or downloaded plugins.
Now install the downloaded ST3 as a fresh install (not an update). This insures that all the ST3 ZoneFive plugins are fresh installs.
