Cateye EVO+ / Altitude measurement

Postby GUnslinger » Thu Mar 01, 2018 11:16 pm

Hello,

My Cateye Stealth EVO+ is set on the computer to be miles/hour. The Altitude read in feet on the computer. I'm exporting the data from the computer as a FIT file and then importing it into Sporttracks.

When I view the Elevation/Distance chart the left axis is labeled Elevation(feet). However, the data is in meters! For instance, I live at 5748 ft. This is what the Cateye says on the display (which matches my Garmin too). However, the chart says I'm at 1752 ft, which converted is 5748 ft.

Is there a setting that will convert this data to feet?

Thanks.

You'll need to contact Cateye to fix their FIT file export bug, we can't do anything about that. The FIT file elevation format is in meters always - they shouldn't be exporting it in feet, that's a bug.
